Certifications and documentation

Documents for your project.

Whether you’re choosing a furniture panel or timber for a structure, the information you need will differ. We start with the material and your project requirements.

Documents for your work

What do you need to check?

Material properties

Technical data sheet

To understand the product’s properties, intended uses and processing conditions. Start here when comparing the materials you are considering.

Construction use

Performance and CE marking

The declaration of performance helps you compare declared values with the intended use. We check which declarations and CE documents apply to the product.

Forest certification

FSC or PEFC

They concern the material’s origin and traceability through the supply chain. Tell us from the start if your project requires a supply with forest certification.

Panels for interiors

Formaldehyde and emissions

If your specification requires an emissions class or declaration, include it in your enquiry. It must be checked against the proposed panel and product version.

Structural timber processing centre

The Central Technical Service of Italy’s Higher Council for Public Works issued certificate No. 88/13-CL for the activities declared at Vela’s Poppi facility in Italy. The certificate covers the processing of structural components in solid timber and glued laminated timber (glulam).

A copy of the certificate is available on request.
