Panel cutting

From full panels to the parts you need.

Shelves, cabinet sides, doors and cladding: we cut panels to the sizes you need, working from your list of parts and quantities.

Choose your material from us and request cutting to size.

Why plan the cuts?

Make good use of the panel. Prepare for the next step.

Optimisation software helps us compare panel sizes and arrange the parts to reduce offcuts and processing steps.

You receive the cut parts ready for the next operations in your project. If exposed edges need covering, we can also assess edge banding.

The panel saw and its cutting capacity

SCM Gabbiani GT 2, 130 version, with a cutting length of 4,500 mm. We check the material, part sizes and tolerances for each enquiry.

Before cutting

The right panel for the job.

A cabinet to be painted, a shelf with visible wood grain and a finished wall panel call for different choices. We start with the intended use and appearance, then assess the material, thickness and cutting requirements.

Our catalogue includes plywood, MDF, particleboard and other panel ranges.

For your quotation

Start with a clear list.

A cutting list sets out the parts you need. If you already have a drawing, mention it in your enquiry.

Material and thickness
The panel you have chosen, or its intended use if you would like advice.
Sizes and quantities
Length, width and number of parts for each size. Include the unit of measurement.
Grain direction
Show which way the grain should run on visible parts, for example with an arrow on the drawing.
Edges and further machining
Mark the edges that need banding and say whether your dimensions include the finished edge.

Working with us

Starting from one full panel.

We also consider enquiries for one full panel. Larger orders and established customers receive scheduling priority. Feasibility, panel quantities and timing are confirmed in the quotation.

Work on customer-supplied material is reserved for selected companies and must be agreed in advance.
