CNC machining

Cuts and joints for your timber structures.

We prepare solid timber and glulam beams and components for roofs, pergolas and other structures, cutting, drilling and milling to the project drawings.

You can request timber and machining together.

Preparing the components

Machining the timber before assembly.

Completing the specified machining in the workshop reduces the work needed on site. CNC guides the tools to produce the cuts and shapes needed to connect the components.

Joints between components

Recesses and shaped profiles for the connections specified in the project, such as a dovetail joint.

Whether we are preparing one component or coordinating a set of parts, we work from a drawing that specifies the machining required.

The machine and the sections it accepts

We use an Essetre Techno One for solid timber and glulam components, with sections from 70 × 70 mm to 400 × 800 mm.

We check geometries, tooling and tolerances for each enquiry. Falling within the stated section range is not enough to confirm that an operation is feasible. CNC work on panels is assessed separately.

For your quotation

Start with the component you need.

Describe the job and tell us which drawings or files you already have. We will help you complete the details; file formats are agreed for each enquiry.

Working with us

Starting from a single component.

We also consider enquiries for one component. Larger orders and established customers receive scheduling priority. Feasibility, conditions and timing are confirmed in the quotation.

Work on customer-supplied material is reserved for selected companies and must be agreed in advance.

Tell us about the job

What would you like to build?

A beam, a group of components or a structure: tell us what they will be used for and which machining operations you need. If you need delivery, include the destination.
