Work completed in the workshop reduces what needs to be done on site. You can request machined components, an assembly kit or preassembled sections where the design allows.
Assembly kits
A set of parts prepared for the same project. We agree which components, machining operations and connectors to include in the supply.
Preassembled sections
To reduce the connections that need to be made on site, we can assemble some components before delivery. This is assessed alongside dimensions, transport and installation.
The timber surface
Planing and treatment to suit the job.
Planing evens out the surfaces and brings components to the agreed dimensions. If the timber will remain visible, we also agree the desired appearance.
You can also request wood treatment. The product and application process need to suit the intended use and exposure.

Transport, unloading and installation are assessed for each job, taking site access and component handling into account.
Structural matters require checks by a qualified professional. This website does not perform calculations or replace the project design.
