Panels for furniture and interiors

Veneered panels.
Real wood for furniture and interiors.

A thin layer of wood covers the panel, bringing grain to cabinet fronts, furniture and walls. Choose the veneer species for its appearance and the core to suit the part you are making.

Look at the edge to see how the panel is built. Each product page lists veneer species, face grades and sizes in the range.

Veneered plywood

For wall panelling, door facings and thin lining panels. The 4 and 8 mm range combines a core of cross-grained layers with a wood surface ready to finish.

For door and security-door facings or furniture components. The fibre structure provides a uniform base for the veneer. Thickness and the number of veneered faces vary by configuration.

For bookcases, sides, doors and shelves in bespoke furniture. Spruce strips form a lightweight core, while the wood surface gives the part the colour and grain you choose.

The samples illustrate how the panels are built. Specify the species and appearance when making your enquiry. For shelves, dimensions, supports and loads guide the choice of thickness.

Grain gives the piece its character.
Finishing completes it.

When placing cabinet doors side by side or lining a wall, consider every surface that will be visible.

Species and grain

Wood varies in colour and grain. Tell us how you want the panels arranged and the grain orientated, especially where surfaces sit side by side.

Faces and edges

The back matters too if it will be visible. After cutting, edges and faces need the specified finish. A veneered panel is not necessarily already varnished.
